things here were getting really boring nowadays.. nothing much to blog about.. recently have been studying and doing assignments everyday till late at night. on some nights i dun even go home.. hopefully, all efforts will pay off..
while i was walking in the city one day, i looked up. i saw a heart in the sky. you dun see this kinda things in singapore... so i toook a picture with my handphone..



after i walk a bit more, i saw words vaguely on the side of the heart. looks like it is some love message. i love you or something..

stoopid me.. i assumed the prac test is on wed.. narbeh cheebye realised its on tue morning.. which is later in 6 hrs time.. and i havent even study much.. was tinking of pia-ing the whole night tomoro..

Life + singapore joke

recently, i came across many people with many views of life.. each different in a way.. some like to know alot about other peoples life, some just keep their life to themselves.. and also, some just like to talk about other peoples life.
i guess im quite balance among these 3 then.. i do want to know about people, .. sometimes i keep a little to myself, and most of the time i talk about other people or myself :D:D
well, i guess you have to have a balance in everything you do.. regardless it is way of life, studies/play, slack/sport, food, etc..

after watching a few episodes of singapore idol, and some william hung wannabes,.. i conclude that, singapore idol is a joke. it was more like singapore idiots.. okok.. no doubt it was pretty entertaining :D:D but it made singaporeans look daaaammmmnn stoopid.. really hope they hide some super talented singers that they didnt show on TV.. then they reveal it in the finals..
there was a man in a banana mask, singing some banana song...
there was this boy who sang so quietly, only his chin could hear him..
the "lemon tree" guy.... disaster maaan..
oh oh and not forgeting our favourite STEVEN LIM. who sang and stripped to his underwear.. lucky it wasnt shown on Tv... phew@!
how can singapore idol compare with american idol? haiz...

A gift for his lady

A guy wanted to buy a gift for his new girlfriend's birthday.

As they had only started dating, after careful consideration, he decided a pair of gloves would strike the right note, personal, but not too personal.

Accompanied by the girlfriend's younger sister, he went to Dillards and bought a pair of white gloves. The sister purchased a pair of panties forh herself.

During the wrapping, however, the clerk got the items mixed up and the sister got the gloves and the girlfriend got the panties.

The guy sent the package to the girlfriend with the following note:

I chose these because I noticed you are not in the habit of wearing any in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears the short ones that are easier to remove.

These are a delicate shade, but the sales clerk that helped me has a pair that she has been wearing for the past three weeks and they are hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart.

I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt other hands will come into contact with them before I have a chance to see you again.

When you take them off, remember to blow in them before putting them away as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing.

Just think how many times I will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for me Friday night.

Ambition

afraid of things... afraid of making the wrong decisions.. afraid of deciding what i will do for the next 1 year...
hate to be afraid... when i just reach here in brisbane, my mind was set 100% to return to singapore once i finish.. but now, different options appeared before me. better options might be present here.. more relax, more pay, more career paths and future..
right now, ill say im 50-50 on whether to return to singapore for good, or get a job here..

a new record in my life. a 620 page book, finished reading in 4 days.. im a bit mixed up between fact and fiction now.. but im more fascinated by the ambigram in the book.. here are a few i found on the internet..

Strawberry farm

went to the strawberry farm that day. my image of a strawberry farm is like chest level bushes, where i can stand up and pluck it off and just throw it into my basket behind my back or something... and to my supprise, its more like a strawberry plant..




had to kneel down to pluck them.. some nice big red ones are really well hidden. have to go low to spot them. hehehe.

strawberry plucking is definitely an experience. 1 whole plastic plate of it only cost me $4.40 . eat until siao.. after that we went Glass House Mountains walk walk.. cos nearby.. there was no glass, no house, no glass house, on the mountain. the view on top reminds me of thailand.. how i use to go up hill tops and examine rounds fired onto another hill....

remember my grades for ITB627 Network Technologies? i got 73%, grade 5. hoping to appeal and get 2% to become Grade 6. so my GPA would be 5 and not 4.75?
well, i had an appointment on friday morning 9am with my lecturer to discuss this.. but when i woke up, it was 9am already... fuck..
after i decided to skip it, i slept for 30secs and decided to rush for it instead.. upon reaching school, its 915am already. i ran to the ticketing box and realised i had only $1.40 with me.. minimun parking $2 for an hour.. CCB..
oh what the heck, i ran up ignoring the parking ticket and found the door of my lecturer locked... fark.. think he left after 15min thinking i put him aeroplane.. sianz.. so i went into a lab and email a 'sorry' mail to him hoping to make another appointment.. after i send it, i went to check again, this time, he was there! but a indian girl was waiting outside for him so she got him first.. so i waited.. at 10am, she left and it was my turn. oh and throughout, i overheard the whole conversation about her asking about her exam paper, well, she did dammmn bad.. failed every question man..
anywayz, i talked to him and i just couldnt find any marks for him to add.. i just need 1.5 marks to get the 2%!! fark!! so finally i decided to send in for a remark of the whole paper.. hoping to get 1.5 marks.. haiz..
when i reach the car, i saw a ticket at my windscreen.. ccb..
