Sun Corp River Fire

Sun Corp River Fire. a part of the Brisbane River Festival 2004.
although the fireworks is 100 times better than what you can see in singapore during National Day, it still wasnt fantastic. it was nice,.. but thats all.. lasted 30min though..

the highlight of the event was not the fireworks, it was the F1-11 Fighter Jets that flew past us. and like jason said, the pilots were damn cool man.. the way they speak..

"Brisbane, T-minus 30 seconds..."

"Brisbane, Target in sight, T-minus 15 seconds. get your cameras ready "

"T-minus 10 seconds, look up! AfterBurners On..... 5 seconds... "

VVRRRRRROOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

the jet was like about 60-80m away from me.. and it flew just above the river about 5 storeys high.. if i throw a stone hard enuff, it should hit the plane...
after which, the firework starts...

Overall, it was a good experince. first time in my life i see fireworks from directly below. :D

wish the next fireworks i could see live is Hongkong's chinese New Year Firework display..
